Buenos Aires, March 17 (NA) – The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) has a new director. Economist Guillermo Arancibia took office this Tuesday following the resignation of Fernando Bearzi. According to the Argentine News Agency, Arancibia has over 30 years of experience in the public sector, academic research, and consulting. The new ANSES official holds a degree in Economics from the National University of Córdoba and a postgraduate specialization in finance from the University of Belgrano. Throughout his career, he has held strategic positions within the social security system and public administration. At ANSES, he had an extensive career, culminating as Executive Deputy Director of Benefits from March 2024 to September 2025. Arancibia also held high-responsibility roles, such as General Manager at the Superintendence of Labor Risks. In the international and academic arena, he was a senior analyst at the Inter-American Social Security Organization. Additionally, over the past year, he was an advisor to the Ministry of Human Capital, where he participated in the launch of the Human Capital Training Center. In parallel to his professional activity, he has a solid teaching career. He has been an adjunct professor at the National University of San Martín since 2019 and has taught courses at various universities in areas such as statistics, macroeconomics, monetary economics, and portfolio evaluation.
